After breathtaking matches in the quarter finals of the Ice hockey World Cup 2010 there will compete the four world’s best teams in the semi finals on Saturday, 05/22/2010. At 2pm Sweden will compete Czech Republic and at 6pm Germany will eye Russia. The favorite USA couldn’t qualify for this year’s finals.

In the quarter finals on Thursday after a difficult match Germany could finally defeat its opponent Swiss with 1-0. In the 31st minute the professional from North America, Philip Gogulla, could score ensuring Germany’s move in to the semi finals. After 57 years Germany could finally reach the semi finals of an ice hockey World Cup and have the chance to win a medal.

The Golf tournament British Open is famous for pure tension because everything is possible! Be part of this tournament and you will see golf professionals like Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson or Lee Westwood demonstrating their skills and hopefully set new records again in 2010.

There have been several speculations about an inflammation at the neck of Tiger Woods who is world’s top seeded golf player. This inflammation was the reason that Woods had to give up at US-PGA-Tournament in Ponte Vedra Beach (Florida) at March 9th,2010. But now he announced that he will be part of the prestige-tournament British Open in Scotland this year in any case.
